Our secret is a unique company culture
This is a magnet for ambitious and enterprising professionals – people we are proud to work with! Our pragmatic, inquisitive and professional attitude connects us. It enables us to grow – and fast. But no matter how fast we grow and how many changes we make, our values remain the same.
As well as an ambitious culture, KTBA also has a personal and open working environment. This is apparent in the smallest of details, like a game of table football with fanatical colleagues or a Friday afternoon get-together that gets slightly out of hand, not to mention an active staff association.

Mission and Vision
KTBA meets and exceeds the expectations of its customers through innovative, risk-limiting and process-optimising services and tools that make the world a little more food safe.
Growing awareness among consumers has led to these higher demands for quality, food safety and product integrity. Consumers are also more critical about the transparency and reliability of retailers, manufacturers and suppliers and base their decisions on these considerations.
Retailers, certification authorities, legislators, interest groups and food companies are placing higher demands on their suppliers’ Quality Assurance and Business Assurance. Providing the requested information and guarantees is becoming increasingly more complex for companies as a result.
Companies operating in the Food and Consumer Goods sector therefore have a significant need for specific know-how, strategic advice and practical and organisational support in order to meet the demands of the market and society.
Support for the food industry
Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a topic high on the agenda of many companies. How can a business positively contribute to the society in which we live and work? And how can a good vision and clear policy contribute to sustainability efforts? At KTBA, we do our part through both sponsoring and physical contributions.
Assisting and sponsoring food banks in the Netherlands and Belgium
In the Netherlands and Belgium, over a million people live below the poverty line. Food banks help the poorest groups by providing food packages on a temporary basis. This work is carried out in partnership with companies, institutions, government agencies and private individuals. Together we combat poverty, eradicate food waste and reduce the environmental impact. Our motto is: ‘A mind for food, a heart for people’.
Apart from sponsorship money, KTBA also sets aside time to actively contribute to local food banks by providing hygiene advice and support for recipe compositions, packing and package distribution and by offering project support.
Assisting and sponsoring Stichting ‘Papa hoe vangen ze vissticks uit de zee?’
We believe that children will make better choices both today and in the future if they know the origins of their food and how it is made.
Stichting ‘Papa hoe vangen ze vissticks uit de zee?’ has a unique approach: children create vlogs on location at growers and food manufacturers in which they personally ask questions. The children also cook in the vlogs. Making and watching these vlogs gives them a better understanding of farming and industrial food production processes and allows the children to learn from each other.
In addition to sponsorship money, KTBA also sets aside time to actively participate in the foundation by writing articles, teaching in schools and offering project support.
